Feel free to look through my website and let me be your personal trainer UK and worldwide.

Core stability is normally stated as being the body region surrounded by the abdominal wall, the lower back, the pelvis and the diaphragm and its ability to stabilise the body during movement. The main muscles involved include the transversus abdominus, the internal and external obliques, the quadratus lumborum and the diaphragm. The diaphragm is the main muscle of breathing in the human and so breathing is important in providing the necessary core stability for moving and lifting. It is the action of these muscles contracting together upon the incompressible contents of the abdominal cavity that provides support to the spine and pelvis during movement.

Core stabiliy exercises are a great way to reduce fat lose weight, tone up, muscle up, injury prevention, injury rehabilitation, workout at home, especially when combined with a good cardio vascular training program, so for the best workout use my core exercise workouts 2 times a week and do your cardio training 2 times a week for awesome results.

But this is now being examined closer in the sport science field as core stability can now be applied to other areas of the body such as the shoulder joint which is the most movable joint in the body, To remain stable, the shoulder must be anchored by its muscles, tendons, and ligaments which for many throwing events like shot putt, baseball, javelin create huge stress so shoulder stability exercises for core strength are vital to reduce shoulder injuries and increase throwing distances.

The ankle joint is a synovial hinge joint that connects the distal ends of the tibia and fibula in the lower limb with the proximal end of the talus bone in the foot. The ankle joint is bound by many ligaments and the main tendon being the Achilies tendon. The stress imposed on the ligaments and tendon of the ankle joint is huge especially during high impact sports like cricket, road running, the forces on the ankle can increase by several times a persons bodyweight especially when a fast bowler lands in his delivery stride, so you can see how important stability exercises for the ankle joint is very important.

Finally the knee joint is the largest and most complicated joint in the human body, the knee supports nearly the whole weight of the body and because of this is most vulnerable both to acute injury and the development of osteoarthritis for these reasons it is vitally important for core fitness exercises especially for contact sports like rugby, american football, wrestling where there is lots of attacks to the knee area which can cause severe injury to the medial and cruciate ligaments and also the patella tendon.
